Hi everyone!

I am still taking commissions for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!

I can either do one character bust for 20 bucks, or a full body character of your choice for 40. Cutie mark and all!

All commissions will be hand drawn and traditionally inked, and digitally colored.

Consider:

1.) YOU as a pony. You can give me color suggestions and choose your cutie mark.

2.) Your favorite existing character! ANY character from the show!

3.) A pony from the old series, in the new show’s style!

More than one character is doable, but the price will go up.

Look forward to drawing some ponies, or maybe even Discord! And of course, I am open to other commissions, but these prices are solely for ponies. :D

This is a commission I did for my friend, Joseph Birdsong. He’s one of the most creative and funny guys out there making videos and music and awesome short stories/podcasts.

Hey folks!
Did you have a good weekend?  My Indiegogo campaign  for the second episode of The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston has been live for over a week and a half now and has about $1,900 donated so far.  That’s awesome, but with 19 days left, there’s still some ground to cover from now until then to make that $5,000 goal.  If you haven’t seen the video and/or read the details on the campaign, please check it out!  Every dollar counts, but so do sharing the link on facebook, twitter, and tumblr (or simply reblogging this post on tumblr, as well).  Thank you!
Many fun rewards are available for donating, including this print of the character most fans refer to as the “elevator cutie,” Oz Henson.  I can’t say much right now about this anime nerd that makes Ross a little nervous for reasons that are probably pretty obvious, but rest assured he’ll become more important as the series goes on.  ;)
Thanks for reading!

So true.

This is a copy of my Starkid fan art.
I went to their Apocalyptour tonight and it was incredible. Natalie and I won the Crystal Skull tickets from the flier contest but nobody told us what time to be there and when we did get there and showed someone working at the venue the email that was sent to me they told me I still had to wait in line outside. So no meet and greet.
That being said, the show was amazing. Everyone sounded great, many of my favorite songs were sung and so many funny bits. We stayed after and got to meet a few of the cast members. We got pictures with Lauren, Joey and Jim. We also got to give Lauren our fan art and we left copies of them at the merch table for everyone.
Pictures to come…BUT…..
When I got back to my car I had a 50 dollar parking ticket. I’m so broke and have no way to pay it, so I’m going to attempt this:
I will do a commission for 50 bucks. Any two characters. Characters from a comic, a show, STARKID production, whatever. It will be traditionally drawn and inked on 8 x10 bristol (the original can be sent to you) and then colored digitally, and that file will be e-mailed to you. Please consider this or pass it on. I don’t want to remember the concert with this bad memory of a ticket. If you aren’t familiar with my work, check out my website or click the Starkid fan art.

This is the colored version of the first issue of my comic Here Nor There, written by me, drawn beautifully by Conley Smith and this page was colored by the always wonderful Kimball Davis.
Poor Sam, waiting for his date.
Anyway, thought you all might like to see it. I’m getting the whole thing printed right now and then I will be able to send it out as Kickstarter rewards! YAY!

A moment of shameless self-promotion, if I may.
I’m currently running a campaign over on Indiegogo to raise money to fund the second episode of my webcomic, The Super-Gay Adventures of Ross Boston.  Donations are super-rad, but if you can’t give any money, sharing the link on twitter or facebook or wherever (or simply reblogging this) is much appreciated!
This started out as a warmup sketch and then, an hour and a half later, became this.  A promo image for Episode 2, I guess.  Enjoy!

The fan art I did of Polly and the Pirates and Courtney Crumrin, both by Ted Niafeh.
I was able to give it to him at Stumptown. I think he liked it. I’ve admired his work for a long time.

Buzzed one side of my head. It’s the most severe haircut I’ve ever head, although it doesn’t quite come across in these photos I suppose. Not sure how I feel about it yet. At least my hair grows fast.

Several years ago when I was living in Southern California, I used to be friends with the sweetest girl ever, Crystal Romero.

We met at Barnes and Noble, where we were both working and started hanging out. This occurred at around the same time that I was going through some boy trouble, having been led on quite severely by someone who I obviously thought was interested in me. Crystal, not even knowing me that well, wrote me a kind and thoughtful note that I have kept all these years, because to this day, not too many people have written me something so sweet and so powerful.

We even filmed a bunch of stuff we did with our friends that summer and edited the whole thing together as a little documentary. She was so adorable.

It’s taken me a long time to gain confidence and self esteem but she was the one who helped me kick-start the journey to find those things, and for that I will be forever grateful to her.

What sucks is that when I moved to Oregon, we lost touch. I can’t find her anywhere. You name it, I’ve tried it. Do you know how many Crystal Romero’s there are in southern California on Facebook? Like, every single one except her.

So I’m putting this out there in the hopes that the vast land of the internet will work it’s magic and someone will see this, or that Crystal will see this and get in contact with me. I just want her to know that she changed my life and that I miss her. All I know is that she went to Cal State Fullerton and that this is her on the far left of the group photo.

Crystal, I love you and miss you.
